
CGLA Unveils Inspiring Gift From Gallery 1401
An original work by nationally recognized artist Wiley Ross has found a new home at Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (CGLA), thanks to the generous and inspiring donation from Gallery 1401. The painting, titled “End of the Rainbow,” was officially unveiled on Sept. 24 during a special event at Gallery 1401 in downtown Chattanooga. Bold and vibrant, the piece features the message “find yourself at the end of the rainbow.”“We are honored to place ‘End of the Rainbow’ at CGLA, where it will stand as a reminder of strength, creativity, and the endless possibilities that await the next generation of leaders,” said Carley McGee-Boehm, owner of Gallery 1401. The painting has found a home in the all-girls school, where it serves as a daily source of inspiration for students and faculty alike.This donation coincided with CGLA’s celebration of National Arts in Education, reinforcing the vital role of the arts in a STEAM-focused curriculum. By integrating the arts with science, technology, engineering and math, CGLA nurtures not only academic excellence but also emotional intelligence, problem-solving and innovation.Wiley Ross, the artist behind “End of the Rainbow,” is a critically acclaimed painter, muralist and musician, best known for blending social commentary with bold visuals.
