CGLA Earns Statewide Recognitions For Student Growth and Achievement
Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (CGLA) is proud to announce its designation as a2024–2025 Reward School by the Tennessee Department of Education, an honor awarded toonly 30 charter schools statewide. In addition, CGLA has been recognized as a Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS) Level 5 school for the ninth time since 2013, reaffirming its long-standing record of outstanding student growth.“Receiving a 24-25 Reward School status is a humbling confirmation that reminds us, the CGLAfaculty and staff, that we are doing important work for all of our girls and young ladies,” saidSylvia Davis, principal of CGLA.Reward School status is a prestigious recognition highlighting schools that demonstrateexceptional overall performance. These schools show strong student achievement and growthacross multiple indicators, including TCAP results, TVAAS growth scores, absenteeism andgraduation rates.
